And the winner is ,,, just before we get to that bit i just wanted to thank everyone for playing along with this, and with me, and with each other, on this silly, but hopefully enjoyable, little project.
You really have made it a fun thing for me and something I really look forward to doing. I hope it is in some way enjoyable for all of you too.
And a special welcome to all the first time contributors making it onto the points table for the first time. Welcome to every single one of you and I hope you continue to come back and chip in with more fun in the next block too.
Newbies earning one point for welcoming new members into the friendship and telling us all what they call their BOOBS are, Maggie kennedy (Modest Jugs), Casey Campbell (big peaks), Kate Bonny (Perfect Baps), while Georgie earned one point for joining in with the infinite playlist for the first time ever on musician day.
All great stuff and hope to see you back on the points table sometime soon too.
Also a newbie but developing a taste for the points table is Claire WIlliamson (Big Bee Stings) who joins in with the boob chat and also the infinite playlist and collects two points.
But now back to seeing who the winner is ... but before we do lets check out who LOST big this 10 day block.
Both the Mcfarlane brothers played solid games, adding songs and collecting points most days, but both lost big points on different threads.
Ross lost a million points for claiming that a kite is a shape (it isn't) meanwhile Grant lost a million by going for comedy gold and claiming that a word in foreign was the word for a mode of transport in English. It was funny, but by the time i was laughing at it I had already sent it to arbitration and the result came down against him.
Life is tough for funny guys sometimes.
Hard times.
Surprisingly, Louise, who goes out of her way to live within the rules, was a big looser this block with soooooo many indiscretions and rule breaks that it almost stopped being funny. The biggest loss was for claiming, and continuing to claim , that the beach boys classic “I get around” was a shape !!!!
Absolute nonsense and it earnt her a minus million points.
(Probably worth it.)
As funny as dishing out louie's minus million points it pales into insignificance when compared to David Sneddons ... who, despite being one of the most avid of all infinite playlist posters, went and posted a Canadian band on AMERICA day !!!!
Wish i had been able to see his face when this news hit him , because the online reaction was an absolute classic.!!!
But easily the biggest loser was zach, who posted Toto's Africa as the answer to every thread going earning him a massive MINUS 4 MILLION POINTS to finish up with minus 3 999 998 points in total (due to him forgetting to troll me one day and actually play along properly, and the other for, rather hilariously, Toto’s Africa actually being a properly acceptable answer to one of the threads !!!!)
But enough of the losers, let's find out who the winner is ... a whole bunch end up mid table with a few breaking the 100 point barrier.
Kenny must have the biggest disappointment to finish just outside with 96 points despite picking up a 100 point booby prize, the minus 10 point booby trap for mentioning bloody bicycles saw him finish a long way short of the field.
In lots of ways Andy is the real winner. Maximum points every day, quality contributions, and even collecting a booby prize for being hip to be square ... sees him end up with a massive 151 points ... !!!!
An almost certain winner on any other week.
But the actual winner is ... with a surprising 1033 points ... (despite not contributing every day, and having a proper rollercoaster of a week by losing a million points AND earning a million points for different songs on the same thread !!!!) ... is Iain Ramponie !!!
The bulk of his points coming from the rash wager that i bet he couldn't find a second combine harvester song in the world ... my bad bet (1000 points does seem a bit generous in retrospect!!!!) is his win !!!!
And with that, i wish Iain the best of congratulations for winning this block with a generous but well deserved winning points tally of 1033 !!!!

A new 10 day block of the infinite playlist has already started and i hope everyone joins in for fun and music again this week.
And just in case you think the points system is silly and unfair... you are correct.
